Time relays

Operating mode

Time relays are electrical control devices used to delay switching operations in electrical systems. They enable certain actions or circuits to be triggered or interrupted after a specified period of time. Time relays can be used in various applications, such as automation technology, building technology or industrial control systems.

There are various types of time relays that differ in how they work, including:

1. Switch-on delay: The relay switches on after a certain delay time.
2. Switch-off delay: After a signal is switched off, the relay remains active for a certain period of time before switching off.
3. Flashing relays: These relays switch on and off at a specific rhythm, for example to generate light signals.

Time relays are useful for controlling processes that require temporal coordination and contribute to the automation and efficiency of systems.
