Pulse counter
Pulse counter and Total counter capture pulses from sensors such as reed switches or with a mechanical contact, which records a count when opened or closed. The recorded counts are totalled and shown on the display. With digital pulse counters, this is usually an LC display or LED display. The counters are used on machines and systems to record the number of operations. The counters differ in their characteristics. Some counters only add up, others add up and subtract down with the help of two separate counting inputs. Depending on the product variant, the items have an integrated battery for autonomous operation. This means that they can also be used independently of the mains.
