Pulse counter
Pulse counters are totalisers that record pulses from sensors or via a mechanical contact. The recorded pulses are totalised and displayed. With electronic pulse counters, this is done on an electronic display. With electromechanical pulse counters, the totalised value is displayed on a roller counter. The counters are available in different versions. There are counters that only count upwards and counters that count upwards and downwards using two separate counting inputs. Counters with an integrated battery are available for autonomous operation. This means that they can also be used independently of the mains. Pulse counters are used, for example, to monitor production processes or service intervals.
