The compact DPM36-AV digital meter with white LED backlighting is characterised by its user-friendly operation, precise readings and wide range of applications. Measuring 36 x 72 mm, this small digital meter is ideal for installation in control cabinets and switchboards.

This versatile measuring instrument is designed for measuring AC and DC voltages up to 300 V and currents up to 10 A. During operation, the units can be switched between the various measurement modes and between AC and DC using an external switch. The full-scale range of the bar graph can be individually programmed and is displayed alongside the bar graph. Minimum and maximum values are recorded; these can be activated via a jumper or an external switch. The backlight can be switched on or off using a jumper. 

For battery operation, the adjustable supply voltage is monitored; if the voltage falls below this level, a warning message appears on the display. The meter also features a hold function, which allows the current reading to be frozen using an external switch. 

All measured values can be reliably transmitted via the serial interface. An external card can be used to add a USB interface as an option, opening up further application possibilities. The interfaces allow for both live data transmission and data transfer via remote query, at a transmission rate of up to five measured values per second.
