Application

The CEM-C range of energy meters is designed for electricity metering. All electricity meters in the CEM-C range are manufactured in compliance with the current standards for electricity metering meters (IEC 62052-11, IEC 62053-21 and IEC 62053-23).

The CEM-C series electricity meters are DIN-rail-mounted devices designed for measuring electricity consumption. They enable the management of electricity consumption data for production lines or industrial and commercial facilities of all kinds.Thanks to their RS-485 (Modbus RTU) communication interfaces, the devices are able to transmit all information to our PowerStudio SCADA system, thereby enabling the generation and automatic dispatch of simulated electricity bills. This enables electricity costs to be allocated between different parties. Furthermore, the devices transmit the necessary electrical variables for comprehensive management of the installations.

Tamper-proof system

The entire range of CEM-C electricity meters features a tamper-proof system comprising securely lockable covers on the meters, designed to prevent unauthorised interference via the wiring of other electricity meters. Furthermore, the energy consumption of all devices is recorded in a register, thereby preventing incorrect readings caused by faulty wiring or attempts at fraud.

More than just electricity measurements

The devices in the CEM-C series can function as network analysers and, depending on the model, can also be used in direct or indirect connection set-ups.Not only do they monitor active and reactive current flow, but they also measure voltage, current, power, cos φ and other electrical variables to ensure the system operates correctly.
