The Digalox series of measuring instruments developed by TDE Instruments GmbH and manufactured in Germany^® is now also available with a Modbus interface.

Developed more than 40 years ago, the RS485 Modbus protocol is and remains an extremely widespread standard for industrial communication. That is why we have developed our Digalox^®-models are equipped with a Modbus RTU interface. This ensures the transmission of all measured values as well as the display of values from remote devices. The new device variants can be used primarily for monitoring machine and operating data and are particularly suitable for retrofitting, as they can be easily integrated into existing systems thanks to the RS485 Modbus protocol and can easily communicate with devices from other manufacturers thanks to flexibly configurable Modbus parameters. This means that existing machines can be brought up to the latest state of the art.

The new Modbus measuring units for DIN rail mounting serve as a measurement data supplier for Digalox^®-displays or processing devices from other manufacturers. They can be mounted directly on DIN rails as well as on other surfaces using the corresponding holes on the housing.

The DPM72 devices with display and Modbus interface can both transmit the measured values and show a total of four parameters from remote devices on the display.

The devices are configured as usual using the Digalox software provided free of charge^®-Manager.
