Retrofitting without laying new cables: with the new XBEE interface from Digalox^®-Measuring devices can transmit data immediately via radio.

The use of machine data is a key factor for manufacturing companies in ensuring quality, improving production performance and remaining competitive.
Good monitoring is therefore essential for keeping track of the vast amount of machine and process data in a large production plant, a factory or a machine park.
Thanks to the new XBEE interface, the multifunctional instruments in the Digalox® range of measuring devices enable the following processes, amongst others:

• Analysis of manufacturing processes
• Optimisation of machine uptime
• Analysis of machine downtime
• Reporting machine faults
• Provision of data for the continuous improvement process

The 2.4 GHz radio interface enables the wireless transmission of all measured values and the display of measurement data from remote devices.
The mesh network provides a robust connection that ensures continued operation even if individual radio nodes fail.
The new device variants integrate seamlessly into existing systems and, thanks to their flexibly configurable parameters, can communicate effortlessly with devices from other manufacturers. This makes it easier to modernise outdated systems, as they are particularly well suited to retrofitting.
The DPM72 units, which feature a display and a 2.4 GHz wireless interface, can both transmit the measured values and display a total of four parameters from remote devices on their screen.
The multifunctional Plusmeters are used in particular for the remote monitoring of machine and operational data, as they are also available in a DIN-rail version without a display.
Once set up, the DPM72 transmits all measurement values reliably and in real time – without the need for any complicated cable routing.

The following product variants are available:
DPM72-MPP-XBEE, -MPPV-XBEE and -MPPA-XBEE are wireless measuring instruments for analogue signals of 0/2 – 10 V and/or 0/4 – 20 mA, with or without a display.
DPM72-MP+-XBEE and DPM72-MPN+-XBEE are wireless measuring devices for current and voltage signals, with or without a display.
They can be mounted either directly onto DIN rails or, using the appropriate holes in the housing, onto other surfaces.
The devices are configured as usual using the free „Digalox®-Manager“ software.
